The ccMixter community is collaborating with ArtLab (community art gallery in San Diego) to create the Emergence sonic-art-installation. spinningmerkaba and Snowflake visited ArtLab to get a sense of the space in anticipation of this event. You can check it out in this video.
The theme of this event is “Emergence” — the idea that the whole is not merely more than, but different from, the sum of its parts. “Emergence” reflects inter-connectivity, synergy, and the way in which unique systems develop from specific environments.
