England has always been divided by class, though our mass media has made it a lot worse these days, ditto ethnic relations which were good at one point. This song is a personal experience version of John Lennon’s Working Class Hero, a song that sadly still rings very true today.

The last few years of family life have been difficult for me personally due to class and ethnic issues, and what’s sad is how our appalling national media have made things much worse.
