At this point, you might presume I have the long-term memory of a goldfish for the amount of times I don’t know how I managed to get the song done in time. This week was no different, as coming up with the arrangement was particularly demanding.

This is at least in part due to a series of circumstances that left me with not a lot of time to either have something ready for Saturday night, and also less time than usual to prepare for the stream.

The inspiration here was playing power chords on the low strings while just letting the high ones drone out… but the basic idea was to then split that between a loop of the drone strings while dubbing in rhythm guitars.

Thus, the song starts out sounding like it’s gonna be in G minor, until a G# power chord throws everything off, and the key never quite stays stable throughout. (or maybe it does, music theory ain’t my strong suit)
